Cambridge rollers or toothed ring rollers from APV are the perfect machines for professional field and grassland operations, in order to selectively improve the ground contact and therefore the seed germination. Both types of rollers are ideal for use in field and grassland operations and provide a good, crumbly seed bed structure as well as optimum recompacting. The Grassland Roller is available in two working widths 8.2 ft (2.5 m) and 9.8 ft (3 m) and with 3 different roller types (Cambridge roller Ø 15.1 inches (390 mm), Cambridge roller Ø 20.9 inches (530 mm) and toothed ring roller Ø 16.1 inches (410 mm)). The benefits of simultaneous re-seeding of grass using APV seeders together with grassland cultivation implements have been demonstrated on the field (Pneumatic seeders and Multi-Metering Systems).
Benefits of the Grassland Roller
- Combination possible with an APV front harrow
