GK 400 M1

Good grassland maintenance is the cornerstone of high quality feed and high yields. The Grassland Combi GK 400 M1 extends the product range by a working width of 4 meters. The GK 400 M1 is ideally suited for larger areas and cross-farm operation.

Featuring a compact and lightweight design, this implement can perform up to 5 work steps in a single cycle, saving time and money. The machine features 2 harrow rows with a leveling plate and a trailing roller. The harrow and roller allow for a combined use.

Operations

The leveling plate smooths out bumps/irregularities. The two tine rows with variable combinations of 10 and 12 mm tines create an optimum seedbed for potential rounds of reseeding while also harrowing weeds from the crops. With the mounted seed drill, seeds are sown between the last harrow row and the roller. The final work step, the pressing of the seeds, is carried out by the trailing roller. The rigid frame of the machine ensures that there are no folding points requiring frequent maintenance.

Configuration Options

The GK 400 M1 offers a variety of configuration options. For instance, the height of the leveling plate can be adjusted by a crank. The work intensity of the tines can be adjusted mechanically via the perforated linkage without any tools. The work depth of the tines can be adjusted via the hydraulic cylinder of the roller. It is possible to additionally fine-tune the work depth / harrow intensity while driving via the configuration of the tractor three-point. There is an intensive setting for harrowing and aeration or for gentler grassland restoration.
